The lead engine

What does a full-service
Google Ads system include?

Google Ads management is the ongoing work of building, measuring, and optimizing paid search campaigns so they produce leads at a cost the business can afford. We don't just run ads; we build the whole system. Four parts connect the ad click all the way to the booked job — campaigns, landing pages, tracking, and reporting working as one machine, with numbers you can actually read.

01

Targeted ads

Google Ads campaigns built around high-intent searches

02

Optimized landing pages

Pages engineered to turn the click into an action

03

Accurate tracking

Every call, form, and booking measured — no black box

04

Booked jobs

A seamless system from ad click to revenue

How we work

Discovery, tracking, build, optimize, report.

The same five steps whether we run your Google Ads for you or coach you to run them yourself. Nothing gets scaled until it's measured.

  1. 01

    Free consultation

A 30-minute call about your business, your goals, and what your marketing is doing today. Straight answers, even if the honest one is that you don't need us yet.

  2. 02

    Discovery Session

A 90-minute deep dive: business and competitive review, website and digital-presence audit, conversion goal alignment, and account setup so Google Ads, Analytics, and tags are connected correctly.

  3. 03

    Tracking, then build

Calls, forms, and bookings measured correctly before a dollar of spend is scaled. Then campaigns built or rebuilt: structure, keywords, negatives, ad copy, landing pages, bidding.

  4. 04

    Launch and optimize

Continuous optimization, search-term policing, and bid and budget management. Or, in coaching, you make the changes with an expert in the room.

  5. 05

    Monthly review

A live call in plain English, a clear report of spend, leads, and cost per lead, and a live dashboard. Month to month, in an account you own.

Our approach

Why run Google Ads like an engineering problem?

Because an ad account is a measurement system before it is a marketing channel. If calls and forms aren't tracked correctly, every bid, budget, and keyword decision is a guess. Three rules follow from that.

A real example: at Hassakis Law, a website form-tracking break meant qualified leads were under-counted for part of summer 2026. The break was found and fixed in September 2026 before any budget decision was made on the numbers, which is why the published 19% lead increase is a conservative figure.

  • Tracking before spend

Calls, forms, and bookings are measured correctly before a dollar of budget is scaled. Nothing gets optimized against numbers we can't trust.

  • Your account, month to month

Campaigns are built in a Google Ads account you own, with no long-term contract. If we ever part ways, the history and the data stay with you.

  • Two partners, our own software

You work with Nick and Sean directly, not an account rep, and the tools we use — lead tracking, an AI headline generator, landing pages — are built in-house.

The standards behind the work, if you want to read them yourself: Google Ads conversion tracking · Negative keywords · Smart Bidding · Google Partners program. Everything is configured inside your own Google Ads account, so the data stays yours.

Who we serve

Built for real-world service businesses.

Businesses that live on inbound calls and forms get the most from this model: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, dental, legal, and contractors. Every lead can be traced to the keyword and ad that produced it and priced against what the job is worth, so budget decisions come from a report, not a gut feeling.

Results & track record

Numbers you can check, not adjectives.

A qualified lead is a phone call of five minutes or more, or a submitted form, recorded by call tracking and conversion tracking in the client's own Google Ads account. Every figure below is measured that way, compared over the same months a year apart at the same spend, and links to the page that backs it.

Figures checked September 2026 · Past results never guarantee future ones. Every market and business is different.

How we measure results

  • Comparisons use the same months a year apart at the same ad spend, so seasonality and budget changes don't flatter the result.
  • Cost per qualified lead is the number we manage to, because clicks and impressions don't pay for a truck roll or sign a case; a qualified lead can be priced against what a job is worth.
  • Every client gets the same numbers monthly: spend, leads, and cost per qualified lead, on a live call and in a dashboard they can open any time.

Communication was top class with Nick. Impeccable skills and knowledge about Google Ads and Analytics.
Upwork client review
Nick was very helpful in giving us an audit of our Google ads and helping us refine one of our campaigns to perform much better than before. That particular ad cut our cost per conversion in half! I would highly recommend working with Nick for Google Ads.
Upwork client review
Nick was the perfect fit for what we were looking for in a Google Ads & SEM Freelancer. He was flexible in his approach – both hands-on and taking more of a coaching/training role so that we could learn some of the ins and outs to manage our own campaigns in the future. He provided super helpful training videos, provided great insider tips and tricks, and helped get everything set up properly in the backend with both Ads and Analytics to ensure we were set up for success. Can’t recommend his services enough!
Upwork client review
Nick excels in pretty much anything he sets his mind to. He is a natural born leader and does not shy away from challenges. It can be daunting to start something without any prior knowledge, but that isn’t an obstacle for Nick. Goals are simply the product of completing a sequence of events for him. He relishes in the journey as much as crossing the finish line. And he has an uncanny knack for getting everyone on board!

FAQ

Google Ads management and coaching, answered.

What does a Google Ads manager actually do?

A Google Ads manager audits your account and tracking, wires conversion tracking for calls, forms, and bookings, builds or rebuilds the campaigns, then optimizes them continuously: search-term policing, negatives, bids, budgets, and ad copy. At Pixelocity that is Pixel – Manager, and every month it comes with a live review call, a plain-English report, and a dashboard.

What is PPC coaching?

PPC coaching is done-with-you Google Ads help: live, one-on-one sessions inside your own account where a coach shows you what to change and why, so you keep the skills and the account. Pixelocity's coaching program is Pixel – Advisor, led by founder Nick Ostroff, and it starts with three structured Foundational sessions over 30 days.

How much does Google Ads management cost?

Pixel – Manager is priced in tiers by your monthly ad budget, so a small account isn't paying a big-agency retainer. The management fee is separate from ad spend, which you pay directly to Google with no markup. Current tiers and coaching prices are on the pricing page and change with the offer.

Do you require long-term contracts?

No. Management and coaching are month to month. You can pause or stop with notice, and you keep full ownership of your Google Ads account and its history because campaigns are built in your own account, never an agency-owned one.

How does an engagement start?

With a free consultation, then a Discovery Session: a comprehensive 90-minute consultation covering your business and goals, an audit of your website and digital presence, conversion goal alignment, and account access and setup. It gives both sides a clear read before any monthly fee is agreed.

How quickly will I see results from Google Ads?

Tracking is fixed first, then campaigns launch, then the bidding needs conversions to learn from, so the first month is about clean data rather than headline numbers. Judge the account on cost per qualified lead over a full quarter. In one published case study, a personal injury firm produced 19% more qualified leads at 16% lower cost per lead year over year at the same spend.

Which industries do you work with?

Pixelocity works across 20+ industries with the deepest bench in service businesses that live on inbound leads: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, dental, legal, contractors, and home services, plus e-commerce brands running Shopping and Performance Max.

Do you only work with Los Angeles businesses?

No. Pixelocity is based in Manhattan Beach, California, and many clients are across Greater Los Angeles and the South Bay, but management and coaching are delivered remotely and work for businesses anywhere in the United States.

Is Pixelocity a certified Google partner?

Pixelocity is a Google Preferred Advertising Partner across Search, Shopping, Display, Video, and Apps. Founder Nick Ostroff is also a Top Rated freelancer on Upwork with a 100% Job Success score across 132 jobs.

How do you report results?

By leads and booked jobs, not clicks. Call tracking and form tracking tie every lead back to the keyword and ad that produced it, and every month you get a live review, a clear report of spend, leads, and cost per lead, and a live dashboard you can open any time.

What are Pixel – Apps?

Pixel – Apps is the software Pixelocity builds in-house and puts to work for clients: LeadPixl lead capture and tracking, a free AI Google Ads headline generator, automations, and landing pages that support the ad engine. This website itself is AI-built, with a public build log.

What if I already have an agency or run ads myself?

Bring the account. The Discovery Session audits it line by line: what's working, what's leaking money, and the highest-impact fixes. If it's in good shape, we'll say so. Many clients arrive after months of ads that felt like a black box.

What is the average ROI from Google Ads?

Google's own economic-impact methodology estimates about $8 in profit for every $1 businesses spend on Google Ads and Search, but that is an economy-wide average, not a promise. For a lead-gen business, ROI depends on your close rate and job value, so Pixelocity reports cost per qualified lead and ties it to revenue: your number, not an industry one.

How much should a small business spend on Google Ads?

Enough to buy the data the bidding needs. Google's guidance for Smart Bidding is roughly 30 conversions a month, so work backward from what a customer is worth and what a lead costs in your market; WordStream's 2026 benchmarks put the cross-industry average at $66.69 per lead. Pixel – Manager tiers are set by monthly budget, and you pay Google directly with no markup.
